FRIENDS OF HESSELTINE PUBLIC LIBRARY

The purpose of the Friends of Hesseltine Public Library is to benefit the Hesseltine Public LIbrary and the library community through educational and charitable means.

The organization meets the last Wednesday of January, April and October in the afternoon at the library.

The Friends sponsor a book sale and a quilt raffle during Wild Goose Bill Days  as fund raisers for the library.

The Friends sponsor the summer reading program for grade school children and the pre-school story hour, which meets six times each summer.  They provide wrapped book gifts for children whose families receive Christmas boxes from the emergency fund.  They also pay for prizes for any contests held in the library.

Dues are $1 per year and are payable at the April meeting.  All meetings are open to the public.
